A PLUS FINANCE ACQUIRES A STAKE IN ALLIANCE HIGH TECH (AHT) TO SUPPORT ITS DEVELOPMENT
Marseille, November 26, 2019 - On the occasion of a development capital operation, A PLUS FINANCE enters as a minority shareholder in the capital of Cap Booster, the holding company of the ALLIANCE HIGH TECH group based in Meyreuil (Bouches du Rhône), alongside the president Laurence de Rocca-Serra and the general manager Arnaud Brézun. The AHT Group is one of the leaders in the outsourcing of intellectual services. It operates mainly in the French market for services and consultancy in the fields of IT and engineering.
CAP BOOSTER and its two subsidiaries, ALLIANCE HIGH TECH and GLOBAL ALLIANCE BENELUX, constitute the AHT Group.
Created in 2004 in Sophia Antipolis within the ecosystem of IT services companies in the form of an Economic Interest Grouping, this EIG was then taken over in 2011 by Laurence de Rocca-Serra.
The AHT Group alleviates the constraint of panelling (reduction of the number of suppliers to a panel that has reached critical size) faced by large groups by being their single point of contact in their purchasing processes. AHT provides them with a European network of 2,200 VSEs, SMEs and ETIs that provide advice and services in the fields of engineering, IT and training.
On behalf of its clients, AHT works with independent contractors, VSEs, SMEs and ETIs, in particular by conducting the tendering process, identifying suitable service providers and ensuring that they meet the specifications and have the required capabilities. The AHT Group also manages the administrative aspects of the projects entrusted to it, as well as the invoicing and payment of the services provided on behalf of its clients.
As a member of the Pacte PME and the Observatoire des Achats Responsables, AHT contributes through its activity to the promotion of responsible purchasing strategies within large French groups.
The directors and Marc Decobecq, member of the Strategic Committee, have decided to open the capital to A PLUS FINANCE in order to give the group the financial means to accelerate its growth by capitalising on its current portfolio, by relying on its network of partner companies, and by diversifying its activity via external growth in the field of outsourced purchasing management.
Laurence de Rocca-Serra and Arnaud Brézun said: "One of the major challenges for large companies is to rationalise their list of suppliers, without lacking technical skills. The acquisition of a stake in A PLUS FINANCE will enable the AHT Group to consolidate its development in France and abroad and to deploy its external growth strategy on the tracks already identified".
Hervé Legoupil, Senior Partner, and Jean-Michel Sibué, Associate Director at A Plus Finance add: "We have known Laurence de Rocca-Serra and Marc Decobecq since we took a stake in 2013 in the Studia Group, which Marc founded and chaired at the time. We have followed with interest the development of AHT, to which Laurence has given a commercial dimension after its acquisition, which has enabled it to take on a different scale. AHT is part of a fundamental trend which enables large contractors to concentrate on their core business, while providing activity to SMEs/SMEs rooted in their territories. The main added value of AHT is to enable the meeting and fluidity of relations between the large groups and these SMEs".
